Fall Update and photos

So far, this Fall has brought many warm days and a lot of fun memories :)

Hunter is learning so much every day and I enjoy sitting on the ground with him, just watching him play. He is pure entertainment & amazes me daily! I started teaching him a few signs awhile ago and when we sit down for him to drink his milk, he's constantly moving his hands, doing the 'milk sign' :) He also likes to jabber constantly! He really enjoys sitting forward in the car and points at everything and has so much to say. Every time we look back at him, he gets the biggest smile and at times, starts laughing. The downfall is he no longer naps because there is too much to look at and watch... He truly is the most amazing, best thing in our lives!!

Hunter got his first bloody lip on Tuesday, but it definitely won't be the last! He is still just walking along and pulling himself up on everything and enjoys pushing his CAT dump truck around the house, but hasn't taken his 1st steps yet.

Last weekend we went to a pumpkin festival at the Wildlife Safari and a local farm to the Pumpkin Patch. Hunter had so much fun at the patch!! Monday was Daddy's Birthday, so we wrapped his gifts and made him a cheesecake, his favorite! Tommy and I enjoyed our 1st dinner out, without little man. It was very weird and bittersweet.

We have another busy weekend planned, so we'll post again with any exciting news and more cute photos soon :)

Hunter's 1st Birthday!

Hunter Ian Powell turned 1 on Thursday, October 14th :) He is such a big boy, now!

We had such an amazing, memorable day! We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends & family in our lives...

He had his 1 year photo session with Keri Blue and had his first taste of Birthday cake. He loved it! He wasn't shy at all & dug right in. He had it in his hair, ears, toes, diaper, everywhere... He finished by crawling through it, demolition style! We had pizza for dinner and I made monkey cupcakes :) He loooves cake & cupcakes just as much as balloons!!

What an amazing year it has been! We have made so many wonderful memories and I fall deeper in love with my Family every day. Hunter is a true miracle & blessing for Tommy and I. We are very excited for another animated year with our Son :)

Thank you to everybody who sent Hunter Happy Birthday wishes! He is very spoiled with love!!
