A few of my favorite...

Hunter Ian Powell

Last night we gave Hunter his 5th hair cut. This time, a big boy hair cut!!

Daddy and I both miss his hair... he looks like a different baby and it makes him look so much older!

He's quick and knows exactly where to go to get these... we now have locks and he was soooo mad the first night he wasn't able to get into these!

Go Beavs! He was watching the game :)

Happy 1st Birthday, Brynn!

Hunter showing Jake what NOT to do...

Papa and Remi

Picking his nose... he's a TRUE boy! Ha Ha

Sporting his super cute Columbia jacket... Oregon rain!

Sippy cup hideaway... He lifted up his seat, dropped water in and closed it. Smart kid!

They tag team for trouble! Jake hasn't mastered learning crawling yet, so he is very interested and enjoys watching Hunter move all over the place and get into things. Well, Hunter was playing with my vase and I told him no, so he then proceeded to tip it over and Jake was reaching for the grass so Hunter pushed the vase towards Jake until he could reach the grass... If you'll look close, Jake has a piece in his hand that he is playing with, while Hunter looks as if he conquered. I really wish I would've caught this on video... but I know this is just the beginning of the terrors striking as a team :) Worse if Owen is the ring leader!

Videos

Hunter decided a few months ago that he does not like his jumperoo... when he was mobile and could crawl. But a couple weeks ago he went crazy in it! Daddy and I had to video it because we were both cracking up!

The other video clips are Hunter trying to get Remi and Hachi :) He just loves animals and belly laughs and sqeals, trying to get ahold of them...

An afternoon in the life of an 11 month old :)

This only captured an hour of our fun filled day... he's very busy and I can't get a shot of everything, but here is a preview for all to enjoy!! Most of it took place in our bedroom while Mommy was trying to fold laundry...

Yummy friend rice!

Mad that he couldn't get into the bathroom!

Until he found a remote...

and a picture frame that fell off the wall...

or 1 of his favorite toys. Door stopper! (He broke the one by the front door a few months ago...)

trying to open my closet...

he was helping me pair socks, but when I tried grabbing it, he was hiding it behind him...

He then decided playing toys is a lot more fun & crawled to his bedroom!

Until his dresser was too tempting and he proceeded to take all of his clothes out... ball in hand!

He's now relaxing and reading a magazine :)

Ahhh! Nap time!! :)

Hunter is 11 months old today!

We can't believe how fast our little boy is growing up... A few of his favorite things:

Standing up and walking along the couch, chair, sliding glass door, cabinets, coffee table, Aunt Kari's entertainment center, anything, really. He loves to point at somebody or something and tell a story. He always has so much to say!

He enjoys pulling the straws out 1 by 1, playing music with our pots and pans, trying to help wash dishes or place them in the dishwasher, read (or rip) magazines/catalogs/newspapers, play with Mommy's laptop and he would love to have just one chance to play with the toilet water!

Of course at the top of the list is still bath time, playing with Chief & Shelby
and taking walks or anything outdoors :)

Hunter also attended his 1st High School Football game - Go SU!

Texting while driving... so illegal!
Hunter Ian at his 1st Football game :)
Playing with Gramma Gramma
Pointing at Uncle Doug :)
Making a mess for Daddy to clean up!

Trouble! Mommy moved the straws, but he still found a plastic spoon!

So tired from his day....

More Summer Fun!

We can't believe it's already September! We went on our last camping trip of the Summer, Gramma Karen, Mommy and Hunter took a trip to Portland to visit Uncle Jeff, Aunt Liz, Conor and Sophia and have been enjoying our days together :)

We like to call Hunter 'Monkey', but the last few months he has also been referred to as 'Monster'... he plays that role very well! ;) He has been practicing to be 1...

Playing with his cousins, Dale and Jake

Hunter is trying to help Dale...

Hunter's 1st Hot Wheels car - a Skyline! Thanks, Gramma Karen and Papa Rick!!

Baby Grady and Auntie Danielle came to visit!! We love him!

Big boy!

LOVE his wrinkle nose :)

So cute!

If I throw my toy on Mommy's lap top, that means I can play with it, right?!

Bath time at Aunt Krissy's - Hunter and Mommy had a slumber party when Daddy and Uncle Jimmy went elk hunting :)

Apparently his mac n cheese wasn't good enough... he decided to grab my bowl and eat that instead!

Sweet baby boy.

Hunter likes to eat his toes...

I think he wants to play with his toy!
