Hunter is still enjoying playschool and we continue to stay very busy. He is very quick witted and puts a smile on everybody's face :) Below are a few a lot of funnies:
After being awake for about 20 minutes watching cartoons with Mom, he says 'I go back to bed, Mom. Mornings stupid'. Yep! That's my boy. He still hates mornings. Some days he refuses to leave and says 'I stayin' home. I stayin' home. Bye, Mom. I stay home today'... even after turning the tv, fire and lights off, I walk out the door, return in 45 seconds and he's still sitting in the same spot repeating 'I staying home today'. He then cries on the car ride 'go back home, cuddle by firey with Mama'. If only he knew how hard it was on me too :(
These are the mornings I hear 'Leave me alone' and 'Don’t touch the remote' when I say I'm going to start the car. I asked if he woke up on the wrong side of his bed and he said ‘yeah, Mom, wrong side bed I woke up’.

On a good day I hear 'I get my hands warm by the firey just like you, Mom' :)
While playing basketball: 'I did it, I made basket' 'Good job, Mom, you hooped it' 'Ready… set… GO!' 'Shoot it! I shoot basket. Yay, good job me! Your turn, Mom'. 'Play with me, play with me!' 'Almost, almost' and 'is at funny, Mom?'. 'Basetball HOooo0OP' in Hunter's 'accent' ;)
'Follow me', 'Watch me, watch me. Mom, are you watching?' I can never read the newspaper, be on the computer or phone or he will say 'put puter down, play with me!' so we get lots of playing hours in :) He also likes to act like a cat and will come lay in the middle of the paper... He likes all of my attention!
Every morning or after naps I always ask Hunter if he had good sleeps so now he has started saying, as soon as I walk in his room, ‘I sleep good Mom, now I wake up!’ =)
He loves french toast, so enjoys helping himself. He opens freezer, grabs a french toast and brings it to me. ‘I want fwench toast, please, Mom’ He always helps cooking it and used his fork to cut it up into pieces. Who needs a Mom?!
While driving he always talks and has the biggest imagination for what he 'sees'... Driving by a creek & he says ‘Did you see dat, Mom? Down dare in the watee is 3 fish!’ and every time we pull into the grocery store parking lot he yells ‘yeah! I get a cookie!’ because when he goes with Aunt Krissy they visit the bakery… When we were going to Gramma & Papa's he said 'You see dat? Up on the hill in the woods, I see deer!!' So animated, he is!
He thinks he's the boss at Aunt Krissy's and tells the kids 'Settle down now kids', tells them when it's 'wunch' and snack time and questions 'why do you do that Auntie?'
When his cup was empty, he says ‘Auntie, no chocolate. Go bye bye, buy more at store.’ When asked if he wanted chocolate milk he responded ‘yes, good job!’ =)
I was late coming home one evening and he looks at me, rubbing his hand on my face softly and says 'Mom, you went to docker appoint today, yeah?' with such a sweet and concerned voice. When he asks if Mommy or Daddy are at work and the answer is yes, he says 'Daddy makin' money!?'
Team work at Ree's. Hunter unlocked the bottom lock, Jake unlocked the top lock and Hunter says ‘Good Job, Jake’ as he opens the door & looks back to say ‘Bye’. And they were gone. Down the stairs, down the driveway and headed up the road… Ella and Summer live a couple houses up ;)
He doesn't even stop while sleeping... he talks in his sleep too! I heard 'Mom, Mommy' so I walked back there and he was snoozing. A few minutes later, I heard him again so I walked back into his room and he was saying ‘I sit on bunnies’, in a whiney voice, ‘I sat on the bunny’. I had to laugh out loud! It was so cute and funny!
It’s amazing to me the things he is capable of understanding and communicating.
Every day he continues to say many new words and refers to things I didn’t even realize he knew what they were.
This is what Hunter thinks of Mom trying to read a magazine...
